Does FileFast access my files?
Only what you explicitly allow. On Android, FileFast builds its search index after you grant storage access — the index stays on your device and is never uploaded. On iOS, access is limited to the specific folders and Photos you connect, since Apple doesn't allow whole-device access for any app.
Why does Android ask for “Full storage access”?
Android has no equivalent of a file-system index a third-party app can read, so whole-device search requires that broad permission. We ask for it once, explain why up front, and never use it for anything beyond building your local search index.
Why is the iOS app different from the Android app?
Apple's sandbox doesn't allow any app — including FileFast — whole-device file access. iOS access is folder-by-folder, via the system's own file picker. It's a platform limitation, not a missing feature.
Pricing
Is content search really a paid feature?
Yes — searching by filename is free forever and always will be. The only paid tier is searching inside document contents (PDF, TXT, DOCX) and advanced filters like regex.
Are there ads?
No. Not in the free tier, not in the paid tier. We don't run ads.

Visit the Delete Account page, sign in to verify it's you, and confirm. This permanently removes your account and associated data.
